An absolutely fantastic menu and a good beer selection. The Linden Tree in Bury is well known for it’s excellent value for money and extremely generous portions. The staff seem always polite, helpful and friendly and that’s why we’ve chosen this as the venue for our Christmas meal for the third year in a row!
Fast service, friendly staff, excellent food and a great atmosphere - not to mention a fine selection of quality beers! It’s no wonder that the TRAM DEPOT has made it straight onto our ‘A’ list of recommended venues!

Livingstones Coffee shop and Cafe is a great place to enjoy great coffee, a light lunch and a peaceful atmosphere. It’s a venue we here at Bridges Christian Singles use regularly.
You’ll find it adjacent to St Andrews Street Baptist Church and the staff, some of whom are volunteers are always friendly and welcoming.
They serve Fair Trade coffee and tea which you can also purchase to take home. In this way there’s a sense in which you’re doing something to help struggling communities overseas.
The menu has an excellent and inexpensive range of light lunches and the fine cake selection (pictured left) is particularly impressive!
